About This Product
Product Description
kid1st Children's Crab Baby Bathtub – 67cm Plastic Bath with Optional Bath Net & Toy Gift Set
Make bath time colourful and practical with the kid1st Children's Crab Baby Bathtub. Featuring a playful crab-inspired design, this compact plastic baby bath measures approximately 67 x 44 x 20cm and is available in a selection of bright colours including Orange, Coral Pink, Avocado Green and Berlin Blue.
A wide choice of configurations is available, from the bathtub on its own to selected sets supplied with a toy gift pack, bath net or suspended bath net. As the accessories vary considerably between options, check the selected variant carefully before ordering. Whatever configuration is chosen, a bath net or support is only a positioning aid and never replaces continuous hands-on adult supervision around water.

Important Foldable Design Information
- The supplier's product title describes this item as a “Baby Bathtub Foldable Bathtub”.
- However, the supplied written specifications do not provide details of the folding mechanism, folded dimensions or locking system.
- For this reason, no specific folding or storage mechanism has been assumed beyond the supplier's foldable product description.
- If the selected model is foldable, always make sure every required support and locking mechanism is completely engaged before adding water or placing a child inside.
- Keep children's fingers clear of folding joints when opening, closing or storing the bath.
- Never fold, collapse or reposition the bathtub while a child or water is inside it.
Important Age Information
- The supplier describes this as a baby/newborn bathing product, but no specific recommended age or developmental range is provided.
- Do not assume that the bathtub or an optional bath net provides independent support for a newborn.
- Newborns and younger babies require appropriate hands-on support for their head, neck and body throughout bathing.
- Suitability depends on the child's size, development and the manufacturer's instructions for the exact configuration selected.
- Stop using any bath support configuration when your child's size, mobility or development falls outside the manufacturer's instructions.
Critical Water Safety
- Never leave a baby or child unattended in or near water, even for a moment.
- An adult must remain within immediate reach throughout the entire bath.
- A baby can drown in a very small amount of water and drowning can happen quickly and silently.
- A bathtub, bath net, suspended bath net or other bathing accessory does not prevent drowning.
- Prepare towels, clothing, nappies and all bathing supplies before placing your baby in the water.
- If you need to leave the bathing area for any reason, take your baby with you.
- Do not rely on another young child to supervise a baby in the bath.
Bath Net & Suspended Bath Net Safety
- Selected variants include a bath net or suspended bath net.
- These accessories should be treated only as positioning aids.
- A bath net is not a restraint, flotation device or drowning-prevention product.
- Never reduce supervision because a bath net is being used.
- Check that every attachment point is correctly secured before placing your baby onto the support.
- Make sure the net is correctly positioned and does not allow baby's face, nose or mouth to contact the water.
- Support younger babies appropriately with your hands even when using a bath support.
- Stop using the net if the fabric, seams, hooks, attachment points or other components become damaged, stretched or insecure.
Safe Bath Positioning
- Place the bathtub on a flat, stable and suitable surface before adding water.
- Do not place the filled bath on an elevated table, worktop or other surface where a fall could occur.
- Keep the bathtub away from steps and edges.
- Never move, lift or carry the bathtub while a baby is inside.
- A filled bathtub can be heavy and unstable, so avoid moving it while it contains water.
- Make sure baby's head, face, nose and mouth remain safely above the water throughout bathing.
- Do not allow a child to stand, climb or engage in rough play inside the bathtub.
Bath Water Temperature
- Always check the bath water temperature carefully before placing your baby in the bath.
- Mix hot and cold water thoroughly to reduce the risk of hot areas within the bath.
- Check the water using an appropriate method before and during bathing.
- Do not add hot water while your baby is sitting or lying in the bathtub.
- Keep babies and young children away from hot taps and running hot water.
- If the bath is positioned near household taps, make sure your child cannot reach or operate them.
Toy Gift Pack Safety
- Selected variants are described as including a toy gift bag or toy gift pack.
- The exact toys, materials, dimensions and recommended ages are not detailed in the supplied product information.
- Check every included toy against its individual packaging and age guidance before giving it to your child.
- Inspect toys for loose parts, cracks or damage before each use.
- Consider the size of individual components and possible choking hazards when assessing suitability.
- Bath toys do not replace adult supervision around water.
- Allow suitable bath toys to drain and dry appropriately between uses to help maintain hygiene.
Before Every Bath
- Inspect the bathtub for cracks, deformation, sharp edges or other damage.
- If the bath folds, check all structural supports and locks are fully engaged.
- If using a bath net, inspect the fabric, seams and attachment points.
- Place the bath on a stable surface and check it does not rock or move unexpectedly.
- Prepare all bathing essentials before placing your child in the bath.
- Fill the bath appropriately and check the water temperature.
- Remain within immediate reach from the moment your child enters the water until they have been removed and are safely secured elsewhere.
Cleaning & Care
- No specific cleaning products or cleaning method are supplied in the product information.
- Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions for the bathtub and any included accessories.
- Empty the bathtub completely after use.
- Allow the bathtub and any compatible bath net to dry appropriately before storage.
- Inspect the bath regularly for cracks, deterioration or damage.
- Do not continue using a damaged bathtub or bath-support accessory.
- If the bath is foldable, make sure it is appropriately dry before folding and storing it.
Important Packing List & Variant Note
- The supplier's formal packing list states “Bath tub x 1”.
- However, several individual variants are specifically named as including a Toy Gift Bag, Toy Gift Pack, Bath Net or Suspended Bath Net.
- These accessories therefore appear to be variant-dependent rather than standard contents of every order.
- Do not assume that a toy pack or bath net is included with the standard bathtub-only colours.
- Check the exact selected configuration before ordering and fulfilment.
What’s Included?
- Standard Variants: 1 x Children's Crab Bathtub.
- Toy Gift Variants: Bathtub + supplier-listed Toy Gift Bag / Pack.
- Bath Net Variants: Bathtub + supplier-listed Toy Gift Pack + Bath Net.
- Suspended Bath Net Variants: Bathtub + supplier-listed Toy Gift Pack + Suspended Bath Net.
